Dear Parent/Guardian                                                                  March 31, 2017

The Character Parade was a huge success. Thank you to the PTO for all of the wonderful prizes and commitment to our school.

CMS/CHS student council has asked us to help them raise money for the food pantry which part of their Hunger Games activity. She has asked the elementary school student to collect non-perishable foods. She would like this to be a competition with the class that brings in the most food getting an ice cream sundae party with the student council students. Students can also get up to three tickets for the hockey pokey fair for the first three food items they bring in. (We will keep the tickets until the fair). This will run through April 10th.

April is Autism Awareness month. As a school, we will be having several educational activities throughout the month. LIGHT IT UP BLUE is on Sunday, but as a school we will be celebrating on Monday. We are encouraging all of our students and staff to wear blue on Monday.

Next Friday, April 7th, grades 3-6 will be going to UMM for a college fair. This will occur throughout the school day so arrival and dismissal will be the same as always. Permission slips are going home with students.

Report cards go out next Friday, April 7th, and the following week, April 13th will be parent/teacher conference. Please call Betsy if you would like to schedule an appointment to see your child’s teacher. Heads up that April 14th is an early release day.

Attached is the lunch menu for April.

Thank you for your commitment to our school and students. Have a great weekend.
